Weekly Halaqah for Females at Al-Rashid Mosque
Al Rashid Mosque has a weekly halaqa for females at 7PM each Wednesday. Various topics from the Quran and Hadith are taught in English. This is also a great opportunity to socialize with some friendly muslim sisters! All females are welcome to attend, both muslims and non-muslims (bring something to cover your hair). Al-Rashid Mosque has a female volunteer group that works on various community projects, called Generation of Change. They are looking for someone who is good with graphic arts to make occasional posters and flyers, or, alternatively, to train a few of the girls on Photoshop.
